2014 MWxSE Meeting:

The 5th Annual meeting was held in Nashville, TN on October 9-11, 2014 at the Opryland Hotel and Convention Center.  This was the first ever joint meeting between the Midwest Association of Core Directors and the Southeast Association of Shared Resources.  The meeting agenda, presentations and other materials can be viewed by downloading the MWxSE app.

2011 MWACD Meeting Overview:

The 2011 MWACD meeting was held Thursday-Sunday October 26-29, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chicago.   In addition to the main meeting, there were numerous Vendor sponsored Satellite meetings. Eight vendors held free information sessions Thursday, 10/27: Roche/NimbleGen/454; Agilent Technologies; Thermo Scientific; Affymetrix; Partek; DNASTAR; Fluidigm; Ingenuity. The opening reception Thursday night at Haymarket Microbrew Pub was very well attended and, judging by the beer consumption, a good time was had by all.  About 130 core directors and staff participated in the main meeting Friday morning through Saturday lunch- see link at left for full agenda  An optional Core Management Workshop from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning presented by Steve Bobin included 60 participants.
