ABRF Travel Awards Sponsored by MWACD Travel awards to the ABRF Annual Meeting are available to MWACD members who have made outstanding scientific and/or administrative contributions in their institutional core facilities; have developed new biotechnologies with applications in core facilities; and/or have been active in MWACD and/or ABRF activities. The award is to be used to attend the ABRF annual meeting, ABRF annual meeting, “ABRF2015: Integrative Technologies for Advancing Scientific Cores”, to be held on March 28-31, 2015, in St. Louis, MO, to be held on March 28-31, 2015, in St. Louis, MO. The MWACD will be providing two travel awards in the amount of up to $635 that may be used to cover the cost of meeting registration. Application Deadline: February 6, 2015 (Successful applicants will be notified by Feb 13, 2015) Application: Applicants will need to complete the application form to be eligible. The applicant should be sure to highlight the contributions they have made to their core and what the applicant hopes to gain from attendance. Please note that applicants must be members of ABRF at the time of their application, and are required to attend the awards session of the meeting in order to accept their award. Applicants will also be asked to develop a post meeting report on their experiences at ABRF. Qualifying Expenses: Meeting Registration Eligibility: Past attendees of any of the MWACD Chapter Meetings are eligible to apply. Preference will be given to first-time attendees to the ABRF meeting. Those who have received an ABRF travel award within the past three years are not eligible.
